Why vintage typewriters?
Simply put—old typewriters are classic and iconic, from the tapping and clacking of the keys and chime of the carriage bell, to the permanent and unforgiving stamp of ink against paper. They’re a raw and unmistakable representation of human execution, and a fitting rebellion against an increasingly digitally automated world. And when it comes to poetry, there’s no better means of authenticity; there’s no mistaking spontaneous realtime results. All intellectual reasoning aside – they’re pretty cool too.
